The Broad Bay Challenge proved to be a wet one. The start the winds were very light but with 5 minutes to go the winds died and we were stuck well away from the start. after a short time the winds filled in maybe more than we wished we went back and forth with the boat that would end up fourth but in the end he was able to pass us as I could not even tell how the winds were because of the rain. A fun if wet race all the same and we had a great new crew Kimannee Simon from Granada who is sailing for Hampton University’s sailing team. As usual Rodney was there and was crucial when the wind pick-up. We sailed to a fifth only 10 seconds behind forth.
