I must say the latest race was a great effort where every thing worked to our advantage including (if it’s not to presumptuous ) the performance of the crew and I. We started in a good position only briefly we caught the bad air of the Tartan 10 Tantrum. We were then challenged by Plumb Crazy but manage to keep her from rolling us down wind to the Hauge mark and then to the green day marker in Scotts Creek where Valcore had caught up and were fighting to get to the day marker but we prevailed and did a very good job of picking the best course to the channel marker. we were in a very good position on the second pass at the Hauge but had to take a course down the channel to let a barge pass luckily Valcore had to very course even more than us and no other boat was in a position to take advantage of our situation. For the rest of the race we had a good run to the finnish for our second bullet.
